We have designed the authentic tour for you especially to explore the Ivorian coastline and the Ivorian southern rural area. The tour is 10 days all-inclusive journey with stops at different unique places and the possibility to immerse yourself in the Ivorian way of life.

The Authentic Tour

The Authentic Tour is designed for you to not only explore the southern part of Côte d’Ivoire but also fully immerse yourself in the culture. This tour gives you the opportunity to discover and rest at the same time. As we advocate for a fair distribution of resources. Our accommodations and services are mainly provided by sustainable local businesses. Your tour starts in Abidjan. We have a welcoming ceremony at the “Aeroport Felix Houphouet Bouagny” of Abidjan at your arrival followed by the transfer to the Hotel where a festive regalement with music and local food is awaiting.

The next day we will travel to Sassandra and its surroundings for 3 nights. The 1st stage takes us to the historical site of Bassa. Bassa is a village located 20 km from Sassandra on the Atlantic coast. We will then visit San-Pedro and the beautiful site of Monogaga bay where we will spend the night in eco-friendly accommodation.

We have planned entertainment in the evening with local performers to give an insight into the local culture.   

We will visit Grand-Lahou on the 5th day where we will visit the magical village 5 km from the city of Grand-Lahou located between the sea and the river Bandama. We will spend the night at the beach with a bonfire and entertainment with the locals. The next day we are going to visit the Azagny national Park in the morning, the Lycée professional and a fishermen’s village in the region in the afternoon – we will spend the night in an eco-friendly accommodation in Grand-Lahou along the river Bandama.

Our Journey back to Abidjan is on the 7th day have a meal in the evening at the restaurant route de Bingerville / route d’Alepé – spend the night in a 4 stars Hotel (the same as the 1st night) / as an alternative we will spend the day on the island of Ile Boulet. On day 8 we are going to visit a cocoa plantation in the town of Yakassé-Mé / Azaguié respectively 30 km from Abidjan with local beverages (Bangui) and local lunch. On the last day of your journey, we will visit the city of Grand-Bassam in the morning and have a late lunch in Assinie on the Atlantic coast. You will be collected on day 10 from the hotel and brought to the airport where you will take your plane back.
